JoJo stands are known for being pop culture references, so here are some artist I’d like to see as stands! With Ro’DIO Roller right around the corner, hopefully you can use these…..for reference.
Doechii
A Doechii inspired stand and user would be so iconic. Imagine a beautiful stand user with a white alligator as her JoJo stand? Or better yet what if the alligator IS the stand user? This inspired stand would have lots of energy and power while looking phenomenal. Doechii’s style would fit really well in Part 2 or part 3!
Creepy Nuts
I think of all the artists on this list Creepy Nuts may produce the most bizarre stand. If their anime openings aren’t enough to show you their potential I’m not sure what can! A stand or user that referencing Creepy Nuts would be the embodiment of creepy. This JoJo stand would be great for all parts, but part 4 specifically is where this stand would shine! There would be lots of colors and crazy faces involved with this one!
The Temptations
This is a great way to pay homage to one of the greatest R&B groups of all time. To reference their song Papa was a Rollin’ Stone, the stand could be an actual stone. Very similar to Rolling Stones which is a JoJo stand that already exist. Or the stand ability could involve using an enemy’s temptations against them. There’s lots of room for creativity here.
BTS
I think a BTS inspired stand would act similarly to Mista’s Sex Pistols. Each of them with their own personality yet working perfectly as a unit. The stand user would be VERY protective of their stand, I know how Kpop stands can get. BTS has had so many concepts that coming up with a stand ability for them wouldn’t be hard.
Kelis
Specifically her song Milkshake. I can so clearly see this stand in part 6. Imagine a stand user with an ability called milkshake. My immediate thought is that she can turn people into milkshakes or something. But what if the ability really did “bring all the boys to the yard?” She would have the ability to control men as they are naturally drawn to her!
Kendrick Lamar
I think a Kendrick Lamar inspired stand would be powerful. I see this being a humanoid stand, one that could even belong to a JoJo! Though I’m unsure on what the ability would be, this stand would stand on business.
