The season of love is here, and there are some anime couples that make me jealous! From enemies to lovers to unspoken chemistry, these anime couples are here to make us envy them. There are some well known ships that everyone swoons over, but here's some underrated couples that are #goals!

Taeko and from Ore Monogatari (My Love Story)

These two had me screaming at my TV. I would say the only thing I'm not jealous of is the miscommunication. These two go on the cutest dates and have not only the cutest romance, but the cutest friendship. Despite the miscommunication in the beginning, when these two finally get it together I can't help but kick my feet. 

Narumi and Hirotaka (Love is Hard for Otaku)

Of all the anime couples on this list I am most jealous of Narumi and Hirotaka. Unlike many of their peers in the romance genre these two jumped right into their relationship from the first episode! These two have a secret nerdy language that they've developed after years of knowing each other. This means they have almost perfect communication. They go the extra mile for each other, Hirotaka even helping her manage con booths. They are both giant ass nerds and I am JEALOUS. 

Mafuyu and Uenoyama (Given)

These two have a bit of a complicated relationship. Uenoyama is coming to terms with his sexuality, and Mafyuuu is still recovering after his last relationship. Watching as they grow closer despite their troubles is encouraging. First relationships are hard and complicated, and Given doesn't shy away from showing how hard it can get. These two help each other grow as people and as artist, it's hard not to root for them. Even harder to not be jealous of!

Bisca and Alzack (Fairy Tail)

The couple we hoped for but did NOT expect. These two may just be side characters in Fairy Tail, but we all collectively gasped when they got together! Even if you aren’t the main character, you can find your partner in crime. After years of unspoken tension and awkward encounters it was clear these two had something going on! And if we're being honest, getting a confirmed relationship in Fairy Tail is hard! The Nalu stans are definitely jealous of this one!

Morana & Striga (Castlevania)

Castelvania has been on my watch list for a while, and this couple might just be the reason I start! I can easily tell that the two of them are power couple, literally. Morana is strategic and Striga is strong and forceful (though neither lacks skill in the opposite trait). Being vampires, they've been together awhile, and its clear that they know how to push each other to be stronger. They make up for what the other lacks but remain powerhouses when they stand alone. Ed and Winry (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood)

I know childhood friends to lovers is not everyone’s favorite but I eat it up!!! These two have looked out for one another for so long, it's cute to see how their romantic relationship blossoms. Both can handle themselves just fine, but its safe to say they compliment each other well. They know when to worry about each other, but when to let the other do their own thing. It's clear they care deeply about each other, and now that they finally have peace why not get together? Honestly who wouldn’t swoon at a proposal like that?

Kudo and Miyo (My Happy Marriage)

Though I haven't personally seen My Happy Marriage, the show comes highly recommended. And by the way my friends talk about it, Kudou and Miyo are definitely ones to be jealous of. What starts as an arranged marriage, becomes a true and nurturing relationship for the both of them. Miyo coming from a harsh home, and Kudou never having felt understood, they find a safe space in each other. A relationship where both parties, learn, grow and protect each other? Definitely a couple many would be jealous of.
