AnimeNYC 2025 is this week and promises to be better than ever before. This year, AnimeNYC will be adding a fourth day to the show. Thursday-Sunday guests can experience all the main halls of the Javits Center. Whether it’s your first year or your fifth, here are things to look out for at AnimeNYC 2025!
Crunchyroll is sponsoring this year and bringing tons of events and screenings to AnimeNYC.
One of the biggest events is the To Your Eternity 3 Special Premiere featuring Reiji Kawashima and Kenjiro Tsuda! This includes an early preview of season 3. To celebrate 30 years of Evangelion, Yoko Takahashi is performing on Friday! It will be an extraordinary performance. While this event is currently sold out, you can learn about her autograph signings here. This isn’t the only concert of the weekend. Dandandan singers Creepy Nuts will be performing on Friday, August 23rd, at 6:30 pm on the main stage. There are still ways to get tickets VIA LYTE for their first US show!

New to the app is virtual Artist Alley! Get an idea of the art and the artist before walking into the con! I love this addition to the app as it allows you to be more specific than in previous years. You’re able to filter out your preferences, and can filter it to show you BIPOC artists. This should make Artist Alley a lot easier to navigate- but I will totally still walk down each aisle! Be sure to download the AnimeNYC app to access this feature and more!
