New Islanders have entered the Villa!
The Love Island franchise has taken control of homes all around the globe. Including us at Girltaku! From exploring connections to exiting the villa: here is our hot take on which 5 anime girls and boys would be in the original 10 contestants to enter the villa. As well as who would be The Bombshells and who would be the Casa Boys and Casa Girls! And of course, who they’d couple up with and how long would they last until they’re dumped from the villa!
5 OG Islander Boys
Sanji (One Piece)
Of course one the biggest lover boys of all of anime would be on Love Island. Which could be a good thing because he would make sure everyone girl got a glorious breakfast spread. With perfectly cooked pancakes…sorry Jeremiah. Sanji could make it far, but he would try to explore his connection with every bombshell that walked into the villa. Because he can’t say no to a beautiful woman. Sanji is such a lover boy which means he’d be a great match for our lover girl Hachi! His eyes might glance away at times and he’d try to explore other connections? Possibly. But in the end he would stay loyal to his connection to Nana and they would make it to the finale!
Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)
Gojo is there for the thrill of the game and as probably one of the hottest guys to enter the villa he would use that to his advantage! I don’t see him lasting long though, especially if the viewers at home have any say in it. He’d probably make it right before Casa Amor and get voted out of the villa after breaking multiple hearts with the female islanders. He would also irritate some of the male islander with his playboy ways. Gojo would definitely try to pair up with Faye Valentine but ultimately would get paired with Mt. Lady.
Leorio (Hunter x Hunter)
Leorio heard 100K and instantly applied to hit the villa. He’s about his bag at the end of the day, but a nice vacation on a beach with beautiful women will also be a bonus for him. He knows he’s gonna have to convince America, but when he realizes Faye is also just there for the money they work to devise what they think is the perfect plan to wow the viewers at home and ensure they both make it to the final four. Although he does his best to keep up with the plan, he gets voted out right before Casa Amor and if not then, after Casa Amor.
Hatori Sohma (Fruits Basket)
Ayame and Shigure applied for Hatori to be there. He does not want to be there, but the casting director found him to be so dreamy that he is now in the villa wondering why he is there. It takes him a minute to warm up to the idea. But once he starts bonding with Mirajane he becomes more open to the idea of putting himself out there and exploring his connection. Hatori is such a loyal man that he will probably stay connected with Mirajane for the entire five weeks. They will make it to the final four couples. The audience will love him, Gojo will probably annoy him, and he will become besties with Sanji and the other girls.
Tōru Oikawa (Haikyu!!)
With his charismatic personality and love for volleyball, Oikawa would be the perfect addition to the OG line up. Especially considering they always have some type of athlete or former athlete on the show each season. Oikawa would always do sweet dates for his couple and be thoughtful and considerate of her feelings. With that being said, he would definitely pair up with our fave water gym leader Nessa! Catching these two playing volleyball and staying active while bonding over their connection would make them a fan favorite that has the potential to make it to the finale!
5 OG Islander Girls
Mt. Lady (My Hero Academia)
One of the hottest pro heroes would definitely find their way on Love Island USA and if it’s going to be anyone it would be Mt. Lady. Not only would it help with her publicity, but she’d be a sucker for a vacation on an island after all the crime fighting she does. She could definitely rub some of the girls wrong at first, but all in all she would be the first to call out any man that does them wrong, especially any man that hurts Hachi’s feelings. Gojo would catch her eyes with his dreamy eyes and smooth voice so once given the opportunity to couple up with him she would say yes!
Faye Valentine (Cowboy Bebop)
One thing about Faye Valentine, she’s about her bread and sunbathing ALWAYS. Love Island is the perfect opportunity for her and this baddie is here to win. She does forget though that she has to convince America and the islanders to keep her in the villa so, when Leorio approaches her about his plan to make it into the finale she is all in. What she wasn’t prepared for was the bombshells that could get into her way or the islanders that figured out she’s not here for the right reasons. By the second or third elimination she is packing her bags and exiting the villa.
Nana “Hachiko” Komatsu (Nana)
Our certified lover girl would be made for a show like this. With her track record she would need it. If a world where she and Takumi aren’t together, she would fall head over heels for someone like Sanji. Finally a man to show her what her love could look like! Hachi would go through an elimination but be saved due to everyone feeling she is there for genuine reasons! She and Sanji may have a couple fights like Kaylor and Aaron in Love Island USA season 6. But in the end the love is as genuine as the love she gives. Congratulations Hachiko, you’re getting the love you deserve and making it to the finale!
Mirajane Strauss (Fairy Tail)
Every season needs that resident mom islander and Mirajane would be ADORED during her time in the villa! As the person always comforting our crybabies and giving very sound advice about different connections and dilemmas, she would get the same love as this recent season’s Amaya Payaya did { she’s going to have all the brand deals}!The audience would be excited to see her couple up with Hatori and see this connection blossom. Breaking him out of his shell and helping realize love is possible again especially after the trauma he has been through. Her couple with Hatori would also be one of the few couples chosen to go to the Hideaway!! Gojo would definitely try to break up the couple but she would remain strong as she explores her connection, become closed off and make it to the finale.
Nessa (Pokémon)
Nessa was so excited to come to the villa…until they told her that she can’t take her pokemon with her. Heartbroken, she would be a little distance at first. But when she starts chatting with Oikawa his goofy personality helps to ease her. Starting off as friends her connection with Oikawa would give slow burn just like #Nicolandria. From having a time with challenges to keeping honest with the other girls, Nessa would become close with Mirajane who would keep her grounded in her connection with Oikawa. Although she enjoys her time with her connection, she would definitely explore her options with the bombshells and casa boys but ultimately if he’s still there she would go back to Oikawa. Her connection with Oikawa could make it to the finale, but that would depend on America and her fellow islanders!
