Whether you have a great family or not, we all find comfort in the ones formed on the screen. No family is perfect and neither are anime families. But here is a guide to discover which found family you should join for the holidays!

Black Clover

The best example of an anime found family are the Black Bulls from Black Clover! The Black Bulls are the black sheep of the magic guilds. The guild is made up of the black sheep. If you've been cut out of your family or have immense family pressure join them. Many of the Black Bulls know what it’s like to not be a part of a family. And the rest understand how hard it is to live up to family expectations.

Fairy Tail

If you are looking for adventure, the Fairy Tail Guild is for you! Full of magic and life threatening quests, Fairy Tail is perfect for those forging their own path. Many members in Fairy Tail either stumbled upon it or set out for it. To join the guild, you have to have the need to get stronger. But, you can’t be selfish. Everyone looks out for one another, and while they’re fighting for different goals, they're all fighting together. They lift up each others strengths, but cover each other weaknesses. And at the end of the day they are all willing to die for their friends. Or just die if you're Gray.

What you’ll get: Adventure and a chance to hone your personal skills.
What you sacrifice: You'll lose you’re guild hall a few times but at least you’ll all be together.

Chainsaw Man

Are you a workaholic grab a blazer and join the chainsaw man crew. In Chainsawman, your work is your life. Everyone’s work drives them; they don’t have time for breaks and are almost always dealing with some demon. If the family thing is not your thing this is a great choice. Chances are someone will die but the work will keep coming. And you’ll be working on thanksgiving, so I guess it’s a paid holiday?

Spy Family

If you want a small domestic thanksgiving, dine with Spy X Family. Though most of it is a rouse, Lloyd's cooking will fill the air. Yor will comfort you as you drink tea. And Anya will tell you all about her adventures. If you have a big family and want something a little smaller, this group is for you. Despite the secrets, everyone including Bond takes care of each other.

Strawhats

Like Fairy Tail, to be a Strawhat, you have to crave adventure. However, prepare to be a little more independent in this family. Unlike Fairy Tail, the Strawhats can usually be found honing their skills separately in their down time. Not to say they’re not close, but they definitely are okay with alone time. Even their fights are 1v1. At the end of the day they all acknowledge that they made it out together. You can also expect a lot of close individual friendships. If you’re someone who needs a safe person, but likes to be in a group of people they’re great. There is a friend for everyone in the crew!

What you’ll sacrifice: You’ll only get crumbs of the meal.

Delicious in Dungeon

If your main objective this holiday season is food, join the Delicious in Dungeon family! Let’s be honest, no one in this party liked each other to start. In fact, whether or not they like each other now is yet to be determined. All that we know is they’d rather eat monsters than part from their quest which says a lot. The party bonds over food and form meaningful connections, even with their enemies! If you are unwavering, and don't back down from a hard journey this party is perfect for you. Plus the food is top tier!
